Broadcast 1

Spring 2023

Broadcast 1 is the introductory class for the television and broadcast arts certificate at the University of Pittsburgh. As an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, I created a few lesson plans and offered support for questions in class and on take-home assignments.

The Front Bench

Fall 2023, Fall 2024

The Front Bench is an upper level broadcasting class at the University of Pittsburgh. In this course students are taught the basics of a control room and a television show through the lens of Producer, Director and Technical Director. This course also had the unique ability to apply the skills in mock sports broadcasts in state of the art Pitt Studios.

TV News Practicum: Pitt to the Point is Pitt's most advanced broadcasting class. In this course, students produce their own weekly news magazine show that airs on the University of Pittsburgh's YouTube page. Students in this course get real-world experience and resume quality material.

University of Pittsburgh Frederick Honors College Undergraduate Teaching Fellowship

During my time as UTA for Pitt to the Point, I was awarded the Frederick Honors Teaching Fellowship. I was able to share my experience as a teaching assistant on the Frederick Honors College blog.
